INTERNATIONAL WRESTLING COLLECTIVE RULES & GUIDELINES
1: JOINING THE IWC
1A: Makes sure to read all the rules, the FAQ's, and the company Information page before joining. This will tell you what the IWC is all about.1B: Fictional characters only. You can not use any real celebrities, athletes or wrestlers.
1C: There is a strict one face, one song policy in place. All taken/reserved pic bases and songs will be listed under the Taken/Reserved section.
1D: After you have registered your account, you will have 72 hours to claim a template. If you do not do this, I will assume you are either a bot or attempting to poach roster members and you will be removed from the forum. (if all templates are taken and you simply want to join to check when templates open up, send me a PM within the 72 hour period to inform me of this.)
1E: After you have claimed your template, you will have 48 hours to complete the bio and post it in the IWC Application Submission board
1F: Do not change any of the coding in the application template. If you do this, your application will not be approved until the problem is resolved. If you do not resolve any problems with your application within 72 hours, the template will be reopened.
1G: Each handler can control up to 2 characters at any given time.
1H: After you have chosen a template, please wait 12 or more hours before selecting a 2nd template.
1I: Failure to follow rules 1b - 1h may result in removal of account.
2: THE TEMPLATES
2A: The templates are pre-determined character gimmicks and back stories for the character. You will have a brief description of the character and the long term goal.2B: Do not post an application from a template you have not claimed
2C: Do not post an application from a template that is locked
2D: Do not post an application with altered code
2E: If you choose a template, do not play the character in a way that completely disregards the gimmick.
2F: Each character has a long term goal in place. Once the goal has been achieved, a new goal will be set for them
2G: Characters (not handlers) are exclusive to the IWC. You may choose to use a character you've already created, but it is advised that you create a new character.
2H: Character exclusivity is a serious thing. Do not have your IWC character in multiple other feds (I can't ignore those storylines and they can potentially ruin the ones here.)
2I: The character is yours and if you do choose to leave the IWC at any time, you can do with them as you wish.
3: THE SHOWS
3A: You will have the option to opt in for each show. Threads will be posted on Wednesday no later than 7 PM Est., and will remain open until Sunday at 11:59 Pm Est.
3B: If you are not listed in one of the 1 - 3 booked matches, it means your match will be a surprise on the show.
3C: The weekly shows will happen every Tuesday and be posted at some point on that day (I will typically try to go with sometime between 8 and 9 PM Est.)
3D: The card for the next weeks show will usually be posted 1 -2 hours after the release of the events. In some cases the card may not be posted until Wednesday morning, but it will always be posted within 24 hours of the previous show.
3E: The Bi Monthly large events are the only shows that will not have Opt in threads as everyone will be booked on those.
3F: The Bi Monthly large events will also have all matches announced for them.
4: ROLEPLAYING
4A: For every show that you opt in for, you will be given 1 mandatory assignment. You may also receive up to 2 additional assignments.
4B: You must complete your mandatory assignment. Failure to do so will have penalties.
4C: First failure to complete mandatory assignment will result in not being allowed on the next show.
4D: Second failure to complete mandatory assignment will result in a 2 show ban.
4E: Third failure to complete mandatory assignment will result in your character being fired and your template being placed back into the available template pool.
4F: Effort will be rewarded. Examples include doing optional assignments, writing up CD pieces outside of your assignments, and being active within UConnect.
5: GENERAL BEHAVIOR
5A: Never use another handlers character(s) without permission
5B: Be respectful of other handlers (no racism, sexism, or vulgar behavior.)
5C: If using a town NPC, do not drastically alter the way they have been portrayed (either by staff or if used by other handlers - if you have a question about any of them PM me)
5D: Assume that everything is OFF SCREEN unless otherwise stated. IWC is much more character driven as opposed to shoot driven. If mentions of any type of media are made (cameras, phones, voice recorders, interview via radio or paper, etc.) are mentioned, that is fair game. If none of those are mentioned, it is not.
5E: Do not give unsolicited feedback. Unless it is requested on the feedback board or in PM, don't start telling people what they need to do to improve or how they should play their character.
5F:If you have a question about your match, place on the card, or why your character didn't win, address those issue to me in a PM. Do not take it to the boards or the shoutbox.
5G: This is a game and it is meant to be fun. If you're not having fun in the IWC, simply send me a PM and tell me that. I'll either work with you to try and see how it can be fun for you or wish you the best in another fed if there's no chance of it being fun for you.
